MR MEN COMIC BOOKS
One of our first illustration projects through Advocate Art London was the Mr Bump comic book. Chorion owned the rights to the the Roger Hargreaves classic characters, and rebooted the IP into a television series with a more modern vector look. Sanrio (the owners of Hello Kitty) later purchased those rights and commissioned a comic book series alongside that show.
Initially the project was an open-styled commission, but due to another change of ownership during production (to Viz media this time... it was a wild ride) we reworked the project in a tight time-frame and matched the television series exactly, keeping the brand in line for ease of promotion.
A great first project for a new illustration studio.
